Eight arrest on multiple drug and weapons charges

Calgary police say they have uncovered a drug production operation at a Calgary sub shop.

Police recently searched Subs N More, 311 17 Ave. S.W., and say they found a cocaine production lab, digital scales and packaging material.

The raid was part of a citywide drug investigation that saw police arrest and charge eight people with 40 drug and weapon charges.

Through their searches of the business and two homes, police say they found 148 grams of marijuana, 540 grams of cocaine and 325 grams of crack.

They also found $81,750, bear spray, numerous Samurai swords and knives and a box of. 45 calibre handgun ammunition.

Charged in the case are: Kother Itani, 28, Adnan Saleh El-Kaderi, 34, Mohamed Hussein Kadri, 19, Taher Elkadri, 18, Sami Hussein Kadri, 18, Ho Dang Nguyen, 32, Siev Sang Tea,

Police are also looking for Lufti Itani, 26, on warrants for possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He is described as a man of Lebanese descent, approximately 6′, weighing approximately 220 lbs. and has black hair and brown eyes.
